Nyoki Sacramento has joined Adam Investigations Counsel as of counsel, bringing her extensive experience in employment law, high-stakes litigation, higher education leadership, and workplace investigations to the Los Angeles-based investigations team.

An accomplished trial attorney with an impressive track record in labor and employment law, Ms. Sacramento has represented employers including Fortune 500 companies and public universities against

discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour violations, unfair competition, trade secret misappropriation, and breach of contract matters in state and federal courts.

Most recently, Ms. Sacramento served as the Assistant Vice Chancellor, Title IX Officer, and EEO (Equal Employment Opportunity) Officer for the University of California, San Francisco. In this pivotal role, Ms. Sacramento led the team responsible for addressing and resolving complaints across the campus and medical center communities that spanned the university’s staff, faculty, students, and patients. She played a key role in evaluating the university’s gender, race, and ethnicity data, and worked closely with various stakeholders to remedy disparities and foster a secure, discrimination-free campus environment.

Ms. Sacramento also spearheaded the preparation of the institution’s Affirmative Action Plan and its related programs for underrepresented minorities and individuals with disabilities.

She has conducted and overseen over 300 investigations addressing allegations such as discrimination based on race, gender, disability, age, sexual orientation, and religion, along with cases involving sexual assault, harassment, retaliation, bullying, and other forms of misconduct. Clients consistently seek out Ms. Sacramento’s services for her exceptional grasp of the processes, procedures, and policies related to Title IX, EEO, and student conduct proceedings.

Ms. Sacramento earned her law degree with honors from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law. She holds T9 Mastered certification and is a Certified Affirmative Action Professional from the American Association for Access, Equity, and Diversity.
