Ms. Adam is a skilled investigator and trial lawyer who leverages more than 15 years of labor and employment law experience to connect with witnesses and navigate delicate, multifaceted, business-critical investigations to develop clear, reasoned reports that withstand scrutiny if challenged in court.
Since launching Adam Investigations Counsel, Ms. Adam has conducted over 100 investigations into nearly every type of allegation, including abusive conduct, bullying, discrimination, harassment and retaliation, implicit and subtle bias, whistleblower complaints, fraud, waste, and financial misappropriation for California cities, public agencies, and educational institutions as well as global media, automotive, and clothing companies.
Before founding Adam Investigations Counsel, Ms. Adam defended clients against claims of wrongful termination, trade secret misappropriation, discrimination, and sexual harassment, among others — including defending the creator of hot yoga in a four-week jury trial throughout which she navigated intense media coverage.
Ms. Adam is trained in trauma-informed questioning and is certified T9 Mastered to perform Title IX investigations involving sexual harassment and assault on educational campuses. She also holds a certificate from the Association of Workplace Investigators’ Training Institute and is a Training Institute faculty member who is dedicated to improving the quality of workplace investigations through education.
