Aisha Shelton Adam, the founder and managing partner of Adam Investigations Counsel, made her third speaking appearance before a cohort of small business entrepreneurs at the University of Southern California’s Bridges to Business Success Program on Aug. 13. Her presentation entitled “From the Ground Up: Managing the Risks in Your Business” explored how business owners can create cultures of respect, develop sound polices to protect their businesses, manage difficult employees and avoid lawsuits.
Offered through USC’s Office of Civic Engagement, the 10-week Bridges to Business Success Program provides micro- to medium-sized business owners with customized and comprehensive support from industry experts and consultants to accelerate the growth of enterprises that possess high-growth potential.
The program specializes in supporting veteran, women, minority and multicultural business owners with the goal of building healthy communities by developing the capacity of Los Angeles’ entrepreneurs. Find out more about the Bridges to Business Success Program here.
