Recognizing her leadership in workplace and Title IX investigations and contributions to the greater community, the Los Angeles Business Journal named Adam Investigations Counsel Founder and Managing Partner Aisha Shelton Adam among its 2025 Women of Influence: Attorneys list, highlighting the most in­fluential women legal leaders in Los Angeles.

Ms. Adam was selected for inclusion based upon her unwavering community involvement and industry-leading work handling complex neutral workplace and Title IX investigations. For over a decade — and leveraging her more than 15 years of experience in labor, employment, and business litigation — Ms. Adam has conducted unbiased investigations into high stakes, and often highly sensitive, allegations of retaliation, harassment, discrimination, abusive conduct, fraud, and waste in public and private spaces.

The Los Angeles Business Journal highlighted Ms. Adam’s ability to approach investigations with discretion, thoroughness, and fairness, calling her “an essential resource for public and private entities seeking to resolve conflicts, mitigate risks, and foster safe, inclusive environments.”

The publication also noted Ms. Adam’s willingness to share knowledge across professional networks: “Adam doesn’t gatekeep her knowledge and experience. Rather, she willingly shares her expertise across the Los Angeles and Southern California business, legal, investigations, and human resources spaces.”

Ms. Adam regularly presents on conducting workplace investigations to help attorneys and human resource professionals strengthen the quality of their investigations. Within the last year, she’s shared her insights at events hosted by the Association of Workplace Investigators, Beverly Hills Bar Association, and Los Angeles County Bar Association.
