Jennifer Williams
Jennifer Williams is an experienced workplace investigator with a diverse background in the legal, media and entertainment industries. Ms. Williams’ experience in settling, litigating, and preventing employment disputes powers her ability to deliver clear, thorough, and well-reasoned investigative reports. In her neutral reports, Ms. Williams analyzes factual evidence and witness credibility on complex issues related to claims of racial and religious discrimination, bullying, sexual harassment, assault, and other issues.

At the start of her career, Ms. Williams served as a law clerk for the Hon. Roanne L. Mann of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York. She then entered private practice at Loeb & Loeb LLP, focusing on intellectual property and commercial law. She returned to public service, clerking again for Judge Mann for five more years. During this time, she gained experience settling state and federal employment law disputes, requiring her to assess witness credibility and the likelihood of success at trial. She also drafted numerous summary judgment opinions on Title VII and the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Later, with the labor and employment law firm FordHarrison LLP, Ms. Williams litigated intellectual property, commercial, and employment law claims on behalf of clients across a breadth of industries. She also advised employers on wage-and-hour compliance and drafted employee handbooks and policies.
Ms. Williams now drafts comprehensive workplace investigation reports, analyzing evidence related to claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, bullying, bias, failure to promote, and Title IX, among other issues. In addition to her investigations writing, Ms. Williams is an entertainment freelance writer and editor. Her experience includes writing for a one-hour series for broadcast and streaming services.
Ms. Williams earned her law degree from Brooklyn Law School. She holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in journalism from the University of Florida and Northwestern University, respectively.
